Debra Hupman, CKD, CBD, ASID Allied, Designer: With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from the University of Kentucky, Debra Willett Hupman has specialized in Kitchen and Bath Design for over 25 years. Debra is a member of American Society of Interior Designers, a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and a Certified Bath Designer (CBD). Her design expertise and innovative solutions have been featured in many local and national publications as well as the Decorator Showcase, The Kitchen of The Bluegrass, and the Tour of Remodeled Homes. Her most recent award was being named the People’s Choice Award for the 2004 Tour of Remodeled Homes. Derrick Whitaker, Designer:
James Derrick Whitaker holds a Bachelor of Art in Interior design from Eastern Kentucky University. After joining Creative Kitchen and Bath in 1994, his designs have been featured in many grand homes in the central Kentucky area in addition to being featured in: The Grand Tour of Homes, Tour of Remodeled Homes, The Dream Home and The Kitchen of The Bluegrass.

Samantha L. Manning, Designer:
Samantha L. Manning holds a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design from Eastern Kentucky University. Samantha has experience in commercial and residential design and has chosen to specialize in kitchen and bath design. She has been with Creative Kitchen and Bath since 2002. Samantha’s designs have been published in the Fantastic Kitchens Magazine and have received awards in the Grand Tour of Homes.

Becky L. Crook, AKBD; Designer, Office Manager:
Becky Crook holds a Bachelor of Science in English from the University of Alabama. With over TEN years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, Becky has been a part of many outstanding projects. Becky teams with Debra Hupman to provide innovative solutions and service to their many customers. Becky recently sat for the NKBA written portion of the certification for kitchen design and earned the title of Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD).

Cindy Ballinger, Designer, Office Manager:
Cindy Ballinger received a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 1983. Cindy worked for several years as an interior designer, running her own business before joining the team at Creative Kitchen and Bath in 1990. She runs the day to day office operations supporting one of the two design teams in every aspect from design to installation.

Melani Fosson, Showroom Manager:
Melani is a long-time resident of Lexington and has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky. She has been actively involved in the community by serving for 6 years as the chairperson of the Realtor Community Housing Foundation’s Repair Affair Committee and as the president and treasurer of the Board of Directors of Actors Guild of Lexington. Melani has over 25 years experience in the construction industry, and she has assisted or overseen nearly every facet of residential construction in her past positions as Selections Coordinator and Project Manager. She has also worked in sales and customer service for over 10 years. Melani is an active member of the Home Builders Association of Lexington, the Lexington Remodelers Council, as well as the Bluegrass Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.

Jennifer M. Barnes, Designer:
Jennifer Barnes graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design. Jennifer is the newest member of the Creative Kitchen and Bath team with 3 years experience. Jennifer specializes in bathroom designs with space planning, fixture selections and tile layouts and provides a personal one on one service for all clients from the beginning to completion of each project.
